A Good Man Is Hard to Find by Flannery O'connor
This story was stressful. When Bailey decided to go to florida instead of Tennessee I knew right away that something bad would happen involving the Misfit. I feel kind of bad for the Grandma, because everyone was silently blaming her. If it wasn't for the Grandma, they would never have made the decision to go to the plantation that turned out to be in Tennessee. The Grandma then wouldn't have knocked over the cat cage and caused a car accident. After everyone else in the family had been killed the Grandma was still trying to talk the Misfit out of killing her, which surprised me. I wouldn't want to live knowing that my entire family had been killed due to my mistake. The title of the story plays an important role. The Grandma repeatedly told the Misfit he was a good man in attempt to spare her life. That didn't end up working, proving that he really was a bad man.
