The Littlest Hitler By Ryan Boudinot

This story was interesting. I can't believe someone would willingly let their child dress as hitler for halloween. Davy (the main character and narrator) thought it was a perfectly normal halloween costume, until he got to school where there was a girl dressed as Anne Frank. That got ugly pretty fast. Davy described how his dad didn't really follow rules. He let Davy watch R rated movies (he is a 4th grader), taught him how to sneak into movies and WORST OF ALL how to roll a joint. Who would teach a 4th grader how to roll a joint?

One of my childhood stories: When I was 12 I went on a camping trip with some friends in Seattle. We canoed to a small island and set up camp. My friends and I went off to get food and re-fill our water bottles, then crawled into our sleeping bags and fell asleep. Around 4:30 am I woke up because a raccoon was walking on my sleeping bag, I had forgotten to put away the food. I screamed which woke up all my other friends. One of them turned on a flashlight and all around us were the glowing eyes of raccoons. We all screamed and the trip leader ran over. We all got out of our sleeping bags and moved to a place far away from the food. When we woke up the next morning all the food for our 7 day trip had been eaten. We had to canoe back to the mainland without eating breakfast to pick all the food.
