A & P By John Updike

I wasn't really sure how I felt about this story. It was kind of random, and there wasn't really a point to the story. It was very well written, an interesting passage was "The longer her neck was, the more of her there was." I thought this was interesting because it  seemed like Sammy (the narrator) only liked the long neck on this specific girl, only she could pull it off. I guess what I took away from this story was not to embarrass girls wearing swimsuits in a supermarket... but that doesn't seem like a very strong point to me.
