How to date a brown girl (black girl, white girl, or halfie) By Junot Diaz was different than most of the short stories I have read. This story was speaking directly at the reader, and giving the reader advice. Although I don't agree with most of the advice, because it was either sexist or mean...I still thought the story was interesting. I liked how it was someone talking to you, but through text.
My Advice:
-Don't treat a girl like she is only there for your own pleasure
-Don't EVER call a girl a bitch
-Don't ignore her calls and pretend like nothing happened
-Don't treat girls differently depending on their race
